Attorney Profile

Melissa C. Schreiber graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2012 earning her English B.A., cum laude, with additional honors from the English Department. She worked as a paralegal for three years before returning to school to become an attorney.

Melissa graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2018 earning her juris doctor, cum laude. During law school, Melissa focused her studies on estate planning and administration. She worked as a law clerk at Fenster Lewis and Good, and as a student attorney in the law school's Health Justice Clinic providing free estate planning services to patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

During law school, Melissa also served as Vice President of the Domestic Violence Task Force, and as Co-President and Co-Founder of the Buffalo Performing Arts Law Society.

Upon graduating from law school, Melissa was presented with the Albert R. Mugel Award for excellence in estate planning and future interests.

Melissa worked in private practice as a trusts and estates attorney before opening her own practice in 2020 to better serve her clients and community.

Melissa is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys running and singing, and is a member of the Harris Hill Volunteer Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary.
